I was mentally lost. My mindset was that of guilt and shame. I had set date to take my life and I began planning and visiting friends and family for one last time. OHHHH BUT GOD! God had a healing plan set up for me. God used my Deeper Still Retreat to help me find the root cause of the madness, which was the abortion I had over 25 years ago. Through prayer, spiritual battles and intercession, those strongholds were broken. Deeper Still provided me with a prayer guide and study manual to make sure I stay on course. God has a greater plan for my life and God has one for you too!

I come from a broken home where fighting and arguing were the norm.   I got introduced to pornography at a very young age and I took my first sip of alcohol at age 9. Disappointment and grief were my reality and at age 11 my parents got divorced. 

I experimented with drugs, alcohol and fornication. At age 21 I got my girlfriend pregnant and we decided to have an abortion, and THAT started the downward spiral of my life.  I was a functioning drug addict for many years until finally my addiction caught up with me.  I became homeless and was in and out of jail for ten years of my life.  

I tried everything to get clean.  I went to rehab in jail, detox facilities, discipleship programs and several 12 step programs and nothing worked! It seemed like all hope was lost.

Then I was blessed to go to a Deeper Still retreat and there I was reconciled with Jesus Christ and my Baby.  Then I found real healing. 

With the renouncing and breaking of curses off my life, I started feeling the weight of sin just drop off of me! Now, because of Deeper Still, I can walk in true freedom. I am forever grateful.
